Second Birthday

We're off to Houston for Thanksgiving at Aunt Kathryn & Uncle Chris's house.

Mommy and I rode with Mimi and Deedee and met Daddy there after his meeting. We stopped on our way and had lunch at Papadeaux's. I especially liked throwing acorns into their pond. Uncle Chris reading to me and Nora

2nd Birthday Party

After breakfast Annie opened her gifts with lots of help from the prosTwo teams worked on putting together her toys: Aunt Ashley & Uncle Shannon assembled her new kitchen and Daddy & Mr. Ray assembled her new tricycle. Thank You!!!!Blowing out the candles on one of the butterfly cakes. Thank you, Novisi, they turned out great!Finally!!! Playtime!!!!!!!!

I want to thank everyone who was able to make it to Annie's 2nd birthday party. I know she enjoyed it because she took a great nap! We are so happy to have a great circle of family and friends to share our happy moments with. Thank you all!

(for those of you unfamiliar with file it's made from sassafras leaves and used as a thickening agent in Gumbo)

Mr. Key was kind enough to give us the finished product that Annie helped to make. Some of you may recognize him from Alton Brown's Feasting on Asphalt 2: The River Run. As with the last festival her eyes were closing as we were driving out of the parking lot.
